PURPOSE: A hydraulic pump control apparatus for a heating-furnace operating system is provided to operate a hydraulic pump according to the state of a flow control valve which controls the flow of oil supplied from a hydraulic tank. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic pump control apparatus for a heating-furnace operating system comprises a sensor(10), a controller(20), and a contactless sensor. The sensor senses the state of a flow control valve. The controller operates a hydraulic pump(30) according to the state of the flow control valve detected by the controller. The sensor is installed differently from each other depending on at least one of the operating manner, the structure, or the type of the flow control valve. The controller operates the hydraulic pump if the state is in an open state. The contactless sensor senses the state of the manual shut-off valve through the distance to the handle of the manual shut-off valve. The hydraulic pump is activated if the state of the manual shut-off valve detected by the contactless sensor is in the open state.
