<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator for a common rail system for an internal combustion engine, capable of providing extraordinarily high inner pressure with a means as simple as possible and a dynamic load independently of a space condition for the accumulator. <P>SOLUTION: This accumulator for a common rail system of an internal combustion engine has: a tubular base body (2) including a wall (3) defining a boundary from a storage space (4) provided inside the base body (2) to store a medium; and at least one hole (5) extending through the wall (3) to release the medium. The storage space (4) is formed of two or more cylindrical longitudinal holes (41, 42 and 43) arranged to be overlapped with each other in cross sections thereof, and at lest one hole (5) is opened in a crossing part (6') of the two or more cylindrical longitudinal holes (41, 42 and 43). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
