<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of suppressing a fraudulent action to forcibly release a lock state of a steering shaft by adding external force to a housing. <P>SOLUTION: This steering lock device includes lock members 7 and 8 capable of fitting to the steering shaft, a trigger 21 disposed to be insertable/detachable into/from the housing 3 along an attaching/detaching direction of a cover member 2, a slider 32 locked by the trigger 21, and an auxiliary trigger 34 for forming the trigger 21 by external force when fraudulent external force is applied to the housing 3. By the deformation of the trigger 21, engagement of the trigger 21 and the slider 32 is released. By energizing force of a coil spring 31, the slider 32 is engaged to a hanger member 7 to hold the lock members 7 and 8 at lock positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
