PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience of the charging work of a battery mounted on a vehicle such as an electric vehicle. SOLUTION: A server 5 calculates a distance between a vehicle 2 or a charger 3 and an adjustment machine 5 on the input timing of a request for adjusting the battery charging rate, calculates time required for the crew of the vehicle 2 to move from the adjustment machine 5 to the vehicle 2 as additional chargeable time based on the distance thus calculated, and controls the charger 3 to charge the battery for additional chargeable time thus calculated. Since the crew of the vehicle 2 charges the battery a small amount during an idle time, convenience of charging work of the battery is enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
