<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine for shortening its axial-direction length, a method for manufacturing its stator coil, and an electric power steering motor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the rotary electric machine, a stator 110 of the rotary electric machine includes a stator core 112, a poly-phase stator coil 114 integrated into the stator core. The stator core 112 is formed by coupling a plurality of divided core pieces, to each other. The stator coil 114 is wound on a coil bobbin 112BO mounted on the outer periphery of the teeth portion of the core pieces, by a concentrated winding, and on the adjacent teeth portions to each other, coils, which flow the same-phase current and whose winding directions are different from each other, are wound continuously. A jumper wire EL, which connects a first stator coil wound around a first teeth portion with a second stator coil wound around a second teeth portion, includes the axial-direction end portion of the coil bobbin, and is positioned on the axial-direction side which is nearer to the center of the rotary electric machine than this end portion.
