PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an increase of vehicle body weight, to simplify a constitution, and to efficiently suppress the deformation of a cabin when a side collision occurs. SOLUTION: This vehicle body side structure 40 includes a center pillar 15 provided at a vehicle body side, a plurality of hinges 42 and 43 provided in the center pillar 15, and a door (rear door) 28 mounted to the vehicle body 11 side so as to be opened and closed via the hinges 42 and 43 so that an occupant may get on and off.
