<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of adjusting a humidification air volume by a simple configuration by using a motor at a constant rotating speed for driving a humidification fan. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The humidifier includes: a moisture absorbing passage; a humidification rotor 12 having an adsorption region arranged in the moisture absorbing passage; a humidification passage in which a desorption region of the humidification rotor 12 is formed; the humidification fan 14 for sending air to the humidification passage; a heater 13 arranged in the humidification passage and at the upstream side from the desorption region of the humidification rotor 12; a damper of a changeover damper part 15 arranged in the humidification passage and at the downstream side from the desorption region of the humidification rotor 12; and a control device for controlling the humidification rotor 12, the humidification fan 14, the heater 13 and the damper.
