PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking mirror for an optical scanner, in which the weight of a movable part is sufficiently reduced, and to provide an optical scanner provided with the rocking mirror for the optical scanner. SOLUTION: The rocking mirror 2 for the optical scanner includes: a substrate 3 having fixed parts 31a, 31b, a movable part 32, supporting parts 33a, 33b which support the movable part 32 so as to be rockable with respect to the fixed parts 31a, 31b; a mirror part 4 provided to one face side of the movable part 32; and a flat coil 5 which is interposed between the movable part 32 and the mirror part 4.
