<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine which can stably control the progression of diabetes occupying the core of life-style related diseases. <P>SOLUTION: The medicine containing an extract taken out from at least the meat of oyster by hot water extraction or the like is used as a medicine for controlling the elevation of glycemia.
