<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method which can form a high quality image on regular paper. <P>SOLUTION: In an ink-jet image forming method, when the amount of ink applied on regular paper is a constant amount of 0.5-6.0 pl, a self-dispersing pigment, an organic carboxylic acid salt, water, and a water soluble compound having a relative degree of intimacy hydrature coefficient of formula (A): the relative degree of intimacy hydrature=ä(water activity value of 20% aqueous solution)-(molar fraction of water of 20% aqueous solution)}/ä1-(molar fraction of water of 20% aqueous solution)} of 0.26 or above are contained, surface tension is 34 mN/m or below, the total amount of ink applied on a fundamental matrix is 5.0 μl/cm<SP>2</SP>or below, and ink of one color is 80% duty or above, an application process (B) (the application of the ink of one color on the fundamental matrix is 1-200 msec and carried out at least twice in timing, the amount of the ink of one color applied in each timing is 0.7 μl/cm<SP>2</SP>or below) is carried out at least twice in a range of the application of the ink of one color of 4,000 msec or below with a time difference of 200 msec or above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
