<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain operation of elevator by restricting a part of running performance in a truly necessary case, when receiving voltage drops below the allowable range. <P>SOLUTION: When the receiving voltage drops, maximum speed and/or at least one of acceleration and deceleration in a speed command pattern are/is decreased in correspondence with the load of the car and operating direction.
