<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which attachment of a foreign matter to a display surface of a liquid crystal display panel is prevented by inhibiting intrusion of the foreign matter to the inside of a mold frame, and the display quality and reliability of the device are improved. <P>SOLUTION: The mold frame comprises divided frames (long side mold frame LMD, and short side mold frame SMD) divided into two. Each divided frame is provided with: a supporting part supporting a backlight side of the liquid crystal display panel through an elastic member (long side rubber cushion LRC, and short side rubber cushion SRC); and a wall surface part 5 or 6 surrounding the side end faces of the liquid crystal display panel. In the corner of the mold frame where the divided frames are coupled, one divided frame has a recess on the wall surface part, and the other divided frame has a protrusion on the supporting part, and the recess and the protrusion are formed to be fitted in each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
