<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tower-climbing prevention device, which is attached to a leg of the tower for preventing an outsider from climbing the tower along its leg while enabling smooth climbing by opening a passage for climbing when a regular worker climbs up, for reducing the worker's labor by improving the efficiency of an operation of a lock means for bringing the tower-climbing prevention device into an opening state and a closed state. <P>SOLUTION: The tower-climbing prevention device includes an annular body 2 and tower-climbing prevention pieces 30. The annular body 2 is fixed to the leg 41 of the tower and surrounds the outer periphery of the leg. The tower-climbing prevention pieces 30 are projected from a plurality of parts in the peripheral direction of the annular body toward the outer-diameter direction. The annular body includes a fixed member 3, a movable member 10, and the locking means 20. The fixed member 3 is fixed to the leg, and part of the fixed member 3 has an opening 4 for climbing the tower. The movable member 10 is supported by the fixed member which can freely be opened/closed so as to open and close the opening, and the lock means 20 locks the movable member in a closed state.
