PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification device capable of suppressing the lowering of a humidification capacity even if a scale is precipitated on a vaporization filter, and an air purifier with a humidification function. SOLUTION: The humidification device capable of suppressing the lowering of the humidification capacity even if the scale is precipitated on the vaporization filter includes: the vaporization filter which uses, as a filter base material, a three-dimensional structure formed by connecting, by using a plurality of connection fibers, a first base material having a plurality of openings and a second base material having a plurality of openings so that the openings communicate with each other; a water supply device for supplying water to the vaporization filter and making the filter base moist; and a fan device for passing air through the communicating openings to feed humidified air from the vaporization filter. The humidification device can enhance the efficiency of contact between the passing air and the water existing on the vaporization filter and can obtain high humidification performance though it is compact in size.
