PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently print a plurality of image data acquired from a subject onto a film. SOLUTION: An image data generating section 1 generates image data for each of a plurality of cross-section slices set in a prescribed examination region of a subject, and an effective display region measuring section 41 of an image data output section 4 measures an effective display region in the image data by comparing between pixel values of the acquired image data and the prescribed upper and lower limits. Next, an image enlargement factor calculating section 42 calculates an enlargement factor for each image data based on the size of the effective display region and the size of the film used for printing on a film. An image data enlargement processing section 44 processes to enlarge each image data based on the minimum enlargement factor extracted out of the plurality of enlargement factors obtained on the image data basis by a section 43 for extracting the minimum image enlargement factor.
