PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing high strength coke solving problems in working environmental aspects and operating aspects of a coke oven. SOLUTION: This method for producing high strength coke comprises the steps of classifying blended coal into dust coal and coarse particulate coal, adding a caking filler material to at least the dust coal and charging into the coke oven. When the caking filler (a) is added to the dust coal, the amount of the caking filler in the dust coal is increased by such an amount that migrates to the coarse particulate coal side until the time for the blended coal to be charged into the coke oven.
