An aqueous sizing for treating R-glass, E-glass, and ECR-glass fibers. The sizing contains a multi-component film former, a lubricant, and an adhesive. The multi-component film former includes polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol polyether, and polyamidoamide. An aqueous sizing for producing roving fibers includes polyvinylacetate ethylene copolymer, polyamidoamide, polyvinyl alcohol polyether mixture, polypropylene or polyethylene polytetrafluorethylene wax, a coupling agent, and water. |
