PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of obtaining a gear structural body at a low cost. SOLUTION: A gear structural body 100 is manufactured through a preparing step, a tooth cutting step, a fitting step, and a loading step. In the preparing step, a gear blank having a first diameter part and a second diameter part is prepared. In the tooth cutting step, teeth 4 of a gear 2 are cut in an outer circumference of the first diameter part, and a groove arranged in line with a tooth groove of the gear 2 is cut in an outer circumference of the second diameter part. The second diameter part is a hub 6 of the gear 2. In the fitting step, a ring 8 is fitted to the second diameter part (hub) 6. In the loading step, the ring 8 is loaded in the axial direction before an inner circumferential surface of the ring 8 is subjected to the plastic flow in the groove of the second diameter part 6, and the ring 8 is fixed to the second diameter part 6.
