<p>The invention relates to a method of assembling an electrostatic discharge protection element in an electropyrotechnic initiator, the method including a step of securing a printed circuit plate to pins (3, 4) passing through a feedthrough (2). According to the invention, the protection element (9) is placed in a cavity (7) in the feedthrough so that the terminals (91, 92) of the protection element face separate solder zones (83, 84) located on the wall defining the cavity (7) in the proximity of the pins (3, 4), and then the solder zones (83, 84) are melted so as to connect them electrically and directly both to the terminals (91, 92) and to the pins (3, 4).</p> |
