METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING CLOSED SUBSCRIBER GROUP OF A FEMTO BASE STATION IN WIMAX SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and a system for managing a closed subscriber group of a femto base station in a WiMAX(Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) system are provided to simplify a service registration list writing procedure by using the automatic service registration procedure between a terminal and a femto base station. CONSTITUTION: A femto base station(201) broadcasts a BSID(Base Station ID) CSG(Closed Subscriber Group) indicator, and stores a CSG registration terminal list. A terminal(200) receives the BDID to recognize that the femto base station is a CSG supporting base station, and transmits a registration request message to the femto base station. A CSG management server(204) determines the CSG registration of the terminal by receiving the registration request message from the femto base station.
