COOLING APPARATUS FOR COIL INNER PART OF HOT COIL COILING MACHINE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for cooling a coil inner part in a hot coil coiling machine is provided to uniformly cool a part of a coil where no cooling water reaches by letting cooling water flow along a cooling water groove formed on the surface of segments. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cooling a coil inner part in a hot coil coiling machine comprises a frame(120), a wedge shaft(130), a plurality of segments(140), and a plurality of spray nozzles(150). The frame formed with a cooling water supply hole is installed in one side of a winding device. The wedge shaft is inserted in the frame to be carried with an operation member installed on the winding device. The segments are installed on the perimeter of the frame and reduced/extended by the movement of the wedge shaft. The injection nozzles are formed in the exterior of the segments and connected to the cooling water supply hole in order that the cooling water is sprayed on the surface of the segments.
