FORECASTING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF FOREST FIRE SPREADING

PURPOSE: A forecasting system of forest fire spreading, and a method thereof are provided to promptly put out a forest fire by accurately predicting the spreading speed and path of the fire. CONSTITUTION: An input unit receives fuel information on a prediction target area, geographical information and geographical information(S300). A forest fire operation unit calculates forest fire intensity of the prediction target area by at least one kind of information among those plural kinds of information(S320). Flame height calculator calculates flame height by the calculated forest fire intensity(S330). Forest fire type predictor predicts the kind of the forest fire in the prediction target area by the clinical information, the forest fire strength or the flame height(S340).
