摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam welding method by which workpieces each formed of a metal plate with at least one of the lapping faces being surface-treated are laminated and forms a gap having the desired size between lapped faces thereby gas of plating metal generated during welding is diffused into the gap. <P>SOLUTION: A first workpiece 12 and a second workpiece 14 which are surface-treated and lapped each other are clamped by a clamping implement 16. A welding part 18a is set substantially at the center of a contact surface between an opening part 16d formed in the clamping implement 16 and the first workpiece 12. Thereafter, the welding part 18a is irradiated with laser beam L1 to form a molten part 19. The laser beam L1 is also scanned on an inner circumferential edge of the opening part 16d to form a heated part 20a. The gap G1 is formed thereby. Gas from a surface-treated layer generated during the welding is diffused into the gap G1 and the pressure of the gas is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
