<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a method for balancing positive-ion output and negative-ion output. <P>SOLUTION: This method for balancing positive-ion output and negative-ion output includes a step to store an adjustable balance reference value in a software-adjustable memory; a step for comparing the balance reference value with a balance measurement value to be measured; a step for adjusting a high-voltage power supply so that the balance measurement value becomes equal to the balance reference value, when the balance reference value is not equal to the balance measurement value; a step for measuring an actually measured ion balance value in a workspace; and a step for controlling the actually measured ion balance value so that it reaches zero, by the remote adjustment of the balance reference value, when the balance measurement value is equal to the balance reference value and the actually measured ion balance value is not zero. Remote adjustment is performed by using a remote control device or a system controller, an electric ionization device is addressed by selectable addresses, and the remote control device or the system controller communicates with the electric ionization device that uses the address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
