<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a frame side member of a vehicle body structure having a complicated structure as a perfect plastic-metal-hybrid member without applying a design concept of a plastic-metal hybrid to an individual vehicle body structure member such as a pillar or a front end. <P>SOLUTION: The frame side member of the vehicle body structure is a metal-made outer frame individually manufactured as a one-piece, and a metal-made inner frame manufactured as a one-piece. Those have at least one opening section partitioned by a roof arch segment, a vehicle body floor vertical member segment, and a center pillar segment. A space which is mutually firmly connected, and formed between the metal-made outer frame and the metal-made inner frame via connection is reinformed by a reinforced structure formed of integrally formed plastic.
