<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a colored curable composition layer for a color filter, by which in the production of a colored layer of a color filter, the occurrence of unevenness by haze and unevenness due to pins in a drying step is suppressed, so that a uniform curable composition layer is efficiently formed, and to provide a color filter having a colored layer obtained by the method, and a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming a colored curable composition layer for a color filter includes a coating step where a curable composition coating layer is formed by coating the top of a substrate by means of a slit coater with a curable composition comprising a pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, a polymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator and a solvent and having a solid content of 12-16 mass% so that a film thickness after drying becomes 2.4-3.5 μm, and a drying step where a curable composition layer is formed by drying the substrate provided with the curable composition coating layer after the coating by means of a vacuum dryer under such conditions as to achieve a degree of vacuum of ≤1,000 Pa after 20 s from the beginning of vacuum drying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
