<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner or a two-component developer, which allows a small diameter toner having a shape particle size distribution, to be produced without the need to provide a classification step, and which has an extended service life and prevents inside voiding or scattering during transfer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises core particles produced by aggregating at least resin particles, colorant particles and wax particles in an aqueous medium, wherein a polymeric dispersant is contained as a principal component of a dispersant used in a colorant particle dispersed liquid with the colorant particles dispersed therein, and a polypropylene glycol ethylene oxide adduct is contained as a principal component of a dispersant used in a wax particle dispersed liquid with the wax particles dispersed therein.
