PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bias potential generation circuit which can prevent the increase of cost of a component and prevent the enlargement of a circuit size. SOLUTION: A switch control circuit 12 outputs an enable signal EN, which is a pulse interval adjustment signal for turning on a switch SW1 intermittently, to the switch SW1 by adjusting an output interval of a pulse signal of a fixed pulse width until a potential of a node 1 becomes a predetermined bias potential from the OFF state of the switch SW1. After the potential of the node 1 becomes the predetermined bias potential, it outputs an enable signal EN, which is an ON signal for constantly keeping the switch SW1 in the ON state, to the switch SW1.
