PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel with excellent display performance at low cost. SOLUTION: Scanning electrodes 5 and sustaining electrodes 6 comprise first parts 51, 61 opposed to each other through a discharge gap and provided in extension at a non-display area in a column direction, second parts 52, 62 arranged in parallel with an interval from the first parts, third parts 53, 63 connecting the first parts and the second parts and fitted at each discharge cell, and fourth parts 54, 64 connecting ends extended to non-display areas of the first and the second parts. In the fourth parts, a wiring pattern 20 is connected to be drawn out to the end of a front plate for being connected to an outside driving circuit, and when widths of the first part and the second part are LL, and a width of the fourth part is Le, LL<Le is satisfied.
