<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing machine for drawing a filamentous material comprising an organic synthetic material by adding a tensile force to the filamentous material while heating the material, and capable of carrying out the miniaturization of an installation and high-speed drawing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The microwave drawing machine is constituted by forming a part of a waveguide circuit for transmitting a microwave power from microwave oscillator 21 as an applicator body 28, forming a heating passage for heating the filamentous material 100 while stretching the filamentous material 100 in the applicator body 28, and concentrating the microwave field to the heating passage of the applicator body 28 by transmitting the microwave power in a single transmission mode in the waveguide.
