PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales processor, by which anyone can readily and surely execute the information provision of even merchandise whose information provision is obligated, when performing the registration and accounting processing of merchandise whose information provision such as a description is obligated and merchandise whose information provision is not obligated, regarding a merchandise, such as, drugs to be purchased by a customer. SOLUTION: The sales processing device 1 that performs registration and accounting processing of merchandise to be purchased by a customer is provided with: a merchandise file for storing at least merchandise identification and price; a storage means for storing a first flag for identifying whether to print the description of merchandise for each merchandise or each classification; a merchandise description file for storing the description of merchandise, in association with a merchandise identification number; a printing means for printing the description of merchandise; and a control means for referring to the first flag stored in the storage means when the merchandise is registered, and when the first flag indicates that the description of the merchandise should be printed, for printing the description of the merchandise, corresponding to the merchandise identification number of the merchandise description file by the printing means.
