PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner which maintains a favorable charge amount even after long-term printing and ensures high-quality images with decreased fog by improving storage property and sticking to a developing blade of the toner containing a crystalline polyester. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the toner includes an external addition step where as an external additive, inorganic particles and fluorocarbon resin particles are deposited on toner base particles containing a crystalline polyester and an amorphous polyester as a binder resin. In the external addition step, the inorganic particles are deposited in a temperature range of ±10°C of the glass transition point (Tg) of the toner base particles, and after that the fluorocarbon resin particles are deposited.
