The present invention discloses a hinge assembly for a folder type portable terminal. The present invention relates to a folder type portable terminal furnished with a terminal body, a folder that rotates in one-axial direction with respect to the terminal body, and an FPCB (Flexible Printed Circuit Board) that connects a circuit board of the terminal body and a circuit board of the folder to each other, wherein is furnished a body bracket one side whereof is fixed to the terminal body, and wherein a hollow cavity is formed along the axial direction; a folder bracket one axis whereof is fixed to the folder, and wherein a hollow cavity is formed along the axial direction; and a hinge shaft that is inserted into the hollow cavity of the body bracket and the hollow cavity of the folder bracket and provides support to the body bracket and the folder bracket to rotate with respect to each other. The area including the center of the FPCB is accommodated in the FPCB groove of the hinge shaft through the body bracket and the FPCB holes that are formed on each side of the folder bracket. |
