PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting die avoiding that an edge portion of an elastic body elastically holding down a sheet is cut by a die-cutting blade during die-cutting of the sheet. SOLUTION: The flat square-shaped elastic body 3 having a greater height than the blade height of the die-cutting blade is disposed at proximal portions holding therebetween the die-cutting blade 2 embedded in a die plate 1. A chamfer 4 is disposed at an intersection portion (edge portion) between a sheet pressing face 3c of the elastic body 3 and a side face 3a opposed to the die-cutting blade 2. If the elastic body 3 is elastically deformed while holding down the sheet S and falling toward the die-cutting blade 2, the intersection portion between the sheet pressing face 3c and the side face 3a does not face a lower part of the die-cutting blade 2.
