The open crate has walls with the free edge having a profile comprising notches shaped for locating work items such as gutters 5, timber planks 6, pipes or tubes 7, 8, timber posts or beams 9, doors (10, Fig.2) or worktops (11, Fig.2). It can also be used in inverted fashion, as shown in Fig. 1, so that the base becomes a work platform, which also is notched so as to locate metal bars 1, plasterboard and plywood sheets 2, 3, and pipes 4. The walls extend in upwards direction at a slight angle so that the crates can be nested or stacked upon one another. The crate is made in plastic so as to be weatherproof. |
