PURPOSE: An electro-optical device, an electronic device, and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce the variation of a gradation due to temperature under a sub field driving by variably controlling the time of a sub field for a temperature compensation according to the detected temperature. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pixels(Px) is arranged on each intersection of a plurality of signal lines and scan lines. A plurality of pixels is driven according to an on-voltage or off-voltage. A scan line driving circuit(32) successively selects the plurality of scan lines. A signal line driving circuit(34) outputs the on-voltage to the plurality of signal lines. The signal line driving circuit outputs one of the on-voltage and off-voltage according to the designated gradation of the pixel. A temperature detecting unit(44) detects the temperature. A controller(42) variably sets the time of the sub field for the temperature compensation.
