The basin has an anti-slip lining (2) provided in a section of an enameled surface. The anti-slip lining is firmly attached with the enameled surface by a heating process, where the anti-slip lining is formed of a transparent material and in a form of a pattern. A printed image (3) is attached to the enameled surface below the anti-slip lining. An acid and alkali-proof protection layer is arranged above the printed image. The anti-slip lining covers the external dimensions of the printed image. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a sanitary basin (2) a composite material for producing a sanitary basin.
