摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure fuel pump control device for an engine surely completing output of actuator drive signal at desired crank angle and effectively improving exhaust emission characteristics and fuel economy or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes a fuel injection valve, a compression chamber, a plunger compressing fuel in the compression chamber, a fuel pass through valve provided in the compression chamber, and an actuator (solenoid) actuating the pass through valve and is provided with a high pressure fuel pump pumping fuel to a fuel accumulation chamber and a crank angle sensor outputting signal indicating a predetermined crank angle position. The device includes a control means performing output control of drive (control) signal of the solenoid to vary delivery quantity of the high pressure fuel pump. The control means make output of the solenoid drive signal completed when the control means recognizes input of signal indicating predetermined crank angle position from the crank angle sensor after start of output of the solenoid drive (control) signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
