<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein having a new transporting action for a sugar nucleotide that is related to the determination of mechanism of the transporting factor of the sugar nucleotide in the living body and a highly reliable method for detecting canceration of tissue from a collected tissue. <P>SOLUTION: A protein has a new transporting activity for the sugar nucleotide and a method for detecting the canceration of tissue utilizes that the quantity of the transcription product of a nucleic acid encoding the protein in a cancerated tissue is less than that of the transcription product of the nucleic acid in the normal tissue. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
