<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double skin panel welding joint and structure capable of improving productivity. <P>SOLUTION: This welding joint is used for butting double skin panels 11A, 11B to each other in the width direction, and performing the friction stir welding of at least one of the upper or lower plate sides using a fixed pin type friction stir welding tool. The upper and lower weld zones 25, 26 formed on each extension of the upper and lower plates 21, 22 are such that, in the first double skin panel, a slope is formed inclined facing outside in the external direction, that, in the second double skin panel, a slope is formed inclined facing inside in the external direction, and that the weld zones are fitted in the width direction. In the welding joint, the end ribs 24a, 24b that are connected between the weld zones and that support the load of the friction stir welding tool 1 are formed in one or both of the first and second double skin panels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
