<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle whose pier panel part including window corners is reinforced with a shear plate. <P>SOLUTION: The railroad vehicle has a side structure 1 in which a window opening 21 is provided and frame members 12 and 13 are joined with the intra-vehicle surface of an outer plate 11 in such an arrangement as stretching vertically and horizontally, wherein on the intra-car surface of an outer plate 11 the shear plate 31 is joined with the whole pier panel part beside the window opening 21, and the shear plate 31 is furnished with projections 31a protruding to above and below the window opening 21, and end parts are formed along the frame shape of the window opening 21 including the window corners R1-R4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
