A channel filter shapes a transmission's high-frequency spectrum, which has no attenuation in a first range, i.e. in a useful band width of approximately 100 to 300 kilohertz (kHz), but in a range outside the first range it has blocking attenuation of particularly more than 60 decibels (dB) or more than 80 dB. An independent claim is also included for a device for transmitting digitalized audio data.
