A strip material treatment apparatus (1) capable of uniforming the temperature of a strip material in the widthwise direction has a plurality of hot air blowing means (18) constituted by segmenting a circulation duct (15) having a heater (14) in the widthwise direction of the strip material (8) at the portion downstream of the heater (14) and to blow hot air against the strip material (8), temperature measuring means (20) that measures a temperature distribution in the widthwise direction of the strip material (8) in downstream of the hot air blowing means (18), and a hot air regulating means (21) that regulates the airflow quantity of hot air to be blown by adjusting the degree of opening of a damper (16) for each hot air blowing means (18) so that the temperature variation in the widthwise direction of the strip material (8) is reduced in accordance with a detection result of the temperature measuring means (20). |
