PURPOSE: A leakage inspection apparatus using ultrasonic waves is provided to inspect a leakage and a leak position of a test object by checking whether the ultrasonic waves transmitted from the interior of a test object are received externally. CONSTITUTION: A leakage inspection apparatus using ultrasonic waves comprises an ultrasonic wave generator(110), an inspection stage(120), an inspection housing(125), an automatic insertion unit(130), an ultrasonic wave detector, a leakage determination unit(150), an airtight seal ensuring unit, and a sealing unit. The ultrasonic wave generator radiates ultrasonic waves through an ultrasonic wave transmitting unit(115). A test object(10) is placed on the inspection stage. The inspection housing is settled on the inspection stage. The automatic insertion unit automatically inserts the ultrasonic wave generator into the test object. The supersonic wave detector detects ultrasonic waves leaking from the test object. The leakage determination unit judges whether a leakage is present in the test object. The airtight seal ensuring unit comprises an airtight sealing member and a groove(122a), wherein the airtight sealing member is formed on either the inspection stage or the inspection housing. The sealing unit seals an opening of the test object.
