PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for filtering and refining transformer insulation oil in a live wire are provided to automatically control filtering and refining processing operations and to remove a heavy metal from insulation oil. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus and a method for filtering and refining transformer insulation oil in a live wire includes: an automatic oil emitting device(200); a first filtering device(400) for removing sludge by filtering insulating oil supplied from the automatic oil emitting device; a second filtering device(800) for removing gas and moisture through a vacuum suction manner by injecting the insulation oil into a vacuum filtering device; an automatic oil supplying device(300); a control device for circulating the oil to be injected to the inside of a transformer through an upper valve(120); an air pressure control device(900); an air purification device(1000); and a nitrogen injection device(1100).
