METHOD OF CHANGING PARTITION FOR POTABLE STORAGE

PURPOSE: A partition conversion method of a movable storage device is provided to convert a partition according to the need in application level without installing device driver to kernel of a system separately, thereby improving facility of a user. CONSTITUTION: Recording position of protocol stack information of a USB(Universal Serial Bus) mobile storage device is detected by kernel service name information of the USB mobile storage device from registry information(200). The number of processes are detected(202). An IDT(Interrupt Descriptor Table) is detected(204). After removing protection mode, the IDT is backed up(208,210). Partition information of the mobile storage device is extracted from the protocol stack information(212). The Partition information is exchanged to requested Partition information(216).
