PURPOSE: An apparatus for a GTP process and a method thereof in a mobile communications system for handover in a base station are provided to efficiently transmit user data without packet loss and time delay by using an additional indication. CONSTITUTION: A modem(910) performs a communication with the other node. A controller(920) obtains identification information on a first link about a packet received through a modem and obtains identification information on a second link mapped on the identification information. The controller transmits transmission data of the packet to a destination node by using the identifying information on the second link. A storage(930) stores the identification information.
