PURPOSE: Water level sensing device and method of a drier are provided to precisely sense the water level based on the output voltage an electrode sensor and a reference voltage. CONSTITUTION: A water level sensing device of a drier is composed of an electrode sensor(300), a sensing unit(400), a setting unit(500) and a control unit(600). The electrode sensor senses the condensed water stored in a water receiving unit and outputs the voltage accordingly. The sensing unit generates the sensing signal according to the output voltage of the electrode sensor. The sensing unit comprises an amplification unit. The amplification unit amplifies the output voltage of the electrode sensor and generates the sensing signal. According to the property of the sensing unit, the setting unit establishes a reference voltage. The control unit determines the water level of the condensed water based on the reference voltage and the output voltage. |
