PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and an assembling method thereof for reducing manufacturing costs and assembly time are provided to integrate the top of a case and a main support and reduce the time required for an assembling process. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit supplies light to a liquid crystal display panel(2). A main support(22) of a square frame type receives the liquid crystal display panel and back light. The support main includes first to fourth sides. Hook type protrusions(25) extend the first to third sides of the main support in the liquid crystal display panel direction. The hook type protrusions prevent the liquid crystal display panel from being separated vertically. |
