METHOD FOR DERIVING THESAURUS DATABASE FROM STATISTICS

PURPOSE: A method for constructing a thesaurus database by statistics is provided to automatically generate thesaurus DB about searching formula and renew the thesaurus DB, thereby automatically constructing thesaurus dictionary based on statistical data. CONSTITUTION: An information search performer inputs searching formula. A similar word group is separated by the search formula. All words are used as vertex. A word relation is used as edge. A graph is generated by using relations between the word and all words. The Graph is stored in a DB. If a user performs thesaurus search, tree per word is generated. A category per meaning is separated. The category per definition is outputted.
